What it is

First released in 1999 and continuously updated since. Free for personal, educational, and non-profit use; a commercial licence is required for business. The tools are organised into categories — Selection, Sheets, Columns and Rows, Formatting, Text, Formulas — and can be reached through the ribbon menu or via configurable keyboard shortcuts. The website keeps a complete changelog and a searchable list of all tools, which helps when the right one is not immediately obvious.
