QUICK NOTES

Page Layout > Scale to Fit > Width: 1 page, Height: (blank/automatic) squeezes wide reports onto one page across without shrinking the row height.
Shrinking too aggressively makes text unreadable when printed -- check Print Preview at 100% zoom to judge actual readability, not just whether it fits.
'Fit Sheet on One Page' works for small tables but can shrink a large report to an unreadable size -- prefer 'Fit All Columns on One Page' for wide-but-short data instead.

Repeating rows and headers

Repeat titles, column headers, page numbers, dates, and workbook labels.

QUICK NOTES

Page Layout > Print Titles lets you pick rows/columns to repeat on every printed page -- set it once instead of manually copying headers.
Use 'Rows to repeat at top' for column headers and 'Columns to repeat at left' for row labels on wide sheets.
Check Print Preview (Ctrl+P) before printing a multi-page report to confirm the repeated header actually appears where expected.

04Intermediate

PDF-ready reports

Export polished files that retain readable spacing, page order, and context.

QUICK NOTES

Set the print area and page breaks first (Page Layout), then use File > Export > Create PDF -- exporting before layout is finalized just bakes the same problems into the PDF.
Open the exported PDF and check the actual page count and order match what was expected -- a forgotten print area can export far more pages than intended.
Add a header/footer with the report title, date, and page number (Insert > Header & Footer) so a printed or emailed PDF stays identifiable once separated from its source file.
