FILTER()
Filters a range to the rows (or columns) that meet one or more conditions — requires Excel 365 or Excel 2021.
FILTER(array, include, [if_empty])FILTER returns only the rows (or columns) from array where include is TRUE. The result is a dynamic array that spills automatically into adjacent cells, resizing whenever the source data changes.
Multiple conditions can be combined: use * for AND logic and + for OR logic. =FILTER(A2:C100, (B2:B100="North")*(C2:C100>1000)) returns rows where region is North AND sales exceed 1000.
Available only in Excel 365 and Excel 2021+. In earlier versions, use VLOOKUP with helper columns or an Advanced Filter instead.

- A boolean array (TRUE/FALSE) with the same number of rows as array.
- if_emptyoptional
- What to return when no rows pass the filter. Default is #CALC! error.
