PERCENTILE.INC()
Returns the value at a given percentile within a data set, including the 0th and 100th percentiles.
PERCENTILE.INC(array, k)PERCENTILE.INC finds the value below which a given percentage of the data falls, interpolating between the two nearest data points when the exact percentile doesn't land on an existing value.
k must be between 0 and 1 (for example, 0.25 for the 25th percentile). k=0 returns the minimum value and k=1 returns the maximum value, which is what the ".INC" (inclusive) in the name refers to.
PERCENTILE.INC replaces the older PERCENTILE function and returns identical results; PERCENTILE.EXC is a related function that excludes the 0th and 100th percentiles and requires a larger data set to compute.
