PMT()
Calculates the fixed periodic payment for a loan or investment.
PMT(rate, nper, pv, [fv], [type])PMT returns the constant payment amount per period needed to fully repay a loan or reach a savings target. The result is negative when you are making payments (cash going out).
rate is the interest rate per period — if the annual rate is 6% and payments are monthly, rate = 6%/12 = 0.5%. nper is the total number of payment periods. pv is the present value (the loan amount, as a positive number).
Use ABS(PMT(...)) if you want a positive number for display. FV defaults to 0 (loan is fully paid off); Type 0 means payments at period end, 1 at period start.
