WORKDAY.INTL()

Returns the date a given number of working days before or after a start date, using a customizable weekend schedule.

WORKDAY.INTL(start_date, days, [weekend], [holidays])

WORKDAY.INTL works like WORKDAY, but lets you specify which days count as the weekend rather than assuming Saturday and Sunday, using the same weekend codes and custom-string options as NETWORKDAYS.INTL.

days can be positive (a future date) or negative (a past date). The start_date itself is never counted as one of the days being added.

This function is useful for scheduling deadlines, shipping dates, or project milestones in regions or industries with a non-standard work week.

Arguments

start_date
The starting date.
days
The number of working days to add (positive) or subtract (negative).
weekendoptional
A weekend number code (1-7 or 11-17) or a 7-character string marking non-working days. Default is 1 (Saturday/Sunday).
holidaysoptional
An optional range of dates to skip in addition to weekends.

Examples

Adds 10 working days from a Monday start, skipping every Friday and Saturday along the way.

With only Sunday treated as the weekend, Saturday counts as a working day, so the 5th working day lands on Saturday, January 6.
